Muscat -Within the framework of visit of HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al -Thani to the Sultanate of Oman, a number of agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed at the Al Bustan Palace Hotel today between the Sultanate and the State of Qatar.
HE Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani and Omani Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah signed a MoU in the field of culture.
The two sides also signed a MoU in the field of environment and its preservation by HE Minister of Municipality and Environment Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi and Omani Minister of Environment and Climate Affairs Mohammed bin Salim al- Toobi.
The Public Authority for Mining (PAM) and Qatar Primary Materials Company (QPMC) also signed a memorandum of understanding on the two queries in Khatmat Milaha in the Wilayat of Shinas to provide the necessary support to get the company on the approvals and permits necessary to carry out its business in the quarries.
Eng. Hilal bin Mohammed al- Busaidi, CEO of PAM and Eng. Essa al- Hammadi, CEO of QPMC signed the memorandum.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between the Port of Sohar and QPMC to customize the quay and storage areas for the company in the Port of Sohar.
