His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country, discussed with His Excellency President Joe Biden, President of the friendly United States of America, the developments of the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories and the efforts of the two countries towards reaching an immediate and permanent ceasefire agreement in Gaza. This came during a phone call received by His Highness the Emir yesterday from the American President. The two sides also discussed the close strategic relations between the two countries and ways to develop and strengthen them, and regional and international developments of common interest.
