US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will meet Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and President Andrzej Duda in Warsaw Thursday to discuss support for Ukraine and strengthening military cooperation with Poland. Blinken’s visit comes after his trip with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy to Kyiv where the top diplomats promised to review Ukraine’s requests for permission to strike deeper into Russia with weapons supplied by the West.

Russian forces attacked energy facilities and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine’s northeastern town of Konotop overnight, officials in Sumy region said via Telegram.
The attack injured at least 13 people, based on preliminary information, according to the statement.

Washington’s top diplomat travels to NATO ally Poland following a visit to Kyiv on Wednesday, where he heard Ukrainian officials’ appeals to be allowed to fire Western-supplied missiles deep into Russian territory.
Blinken is scheduled to meet with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, President Andrzej Duda and Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, according to their offices.

Blinken and his British counterpart David Lammy made a rare joint trip to Ukraine to discuss further easing rules on firing Western weapons into Russia, whose alleged acquisition of Iranian missiles has raised new fears.
Russia and Iran dismissed reports that Tehran had shipped missiles to Russia. The Kremlin also threatened to roll out “an appropriate response” if Washington allowed Kyiv to use US long-range missiles to strike deep inside Russian territory.
The Ukrainian air force said it shot down 20 out of 25 Russia-launched drones overnight. Russian forces also used nine missiles in the attack, the air force added in a statement via Telegram.
