Emir visits Russian national museum for fine art

Moscow: The Emir of Qatar HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani visited Monday the Russian national museum for fine art (Tretyakov Gallery).

During the visit, the HH Emir was briefed on a number of historic and contemporary works as well as paintings by Russian artists.

The HH Emir was also briefed on the museum’s historic collections, art works and the ancient icons of Russia which extends from the Middle Ages to the modern era. The HH Emir listened to an explanation by the museum’s directors about Russian art and culture.

The HH Emir was accompanied during the visit by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation.
