The American delegation includes the senior adviser and son-in-law of the President of the United States, Jared Kushner, National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien, and the American envoy to the Middle East Avi Berkowitz, while the Israeli delegation will be headed by the head of the Israeli National Security Agency, Meir Ben Shabat.

According to Russia Today, Yediot Aharonot stated that Kushner is making efforts to persuade Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to send high-ranking Saudi envoys to Abu Dhabi on Monday, coinciding with the arrival of the American-Israeli mission to the UAE capital.

The newspaper pointed out that despite the continuing dispute in the Saudi royal palace over the issue of normalization with Israel, the relationship between Kushner and Bin Salman led to Saudi Arabia’s approval of the trip through the kingdom’s airspace.

Earlier on Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that Israel will carry out the first commercial flight in history to the UAE on Monday, which will carry two high-ranking Israeli and American delegations.
