His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received, in his office at the Amiri Diwan this morning, President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the sisterly Republic of Yemen, and the accompanying delegation on the occasion of their visit to the country.
During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of developing and strengthening them in various fields were reviewed. His Highness also briefed His Highness the Amir on the most recent developments in the situation in Yemen, in addition to discussing a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior – according to the official website of the Emiri Diwan.
