His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country, reviewed with His Excellency President Joe Biden, President of the friendly United States of America, the latest developments in the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially the implementation of the humanitarian truce agreement that was reached between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip, and joint international efforts to reduce tension and escalation, protect civilian lives, respect international humanitarian law, and increase the flow of humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in Gaza. This came during a phone call that His Highness received yesterday from His Excellency the American President.
During the call, the strategic relations between the two friendly countries and topics of common interest were reviewed.
