The UN International Law Commission (ILC) resumed yesterday its 71st session in Geneva, with HE the Attorney-General Ali bin Fetais al-Marri participating in his capacity as member of the commission. The ILC first reviewed its agenda and discussed a number of topics on it. The ILC will discuss a number of important topics over the next few weeks. Some of these topics are wars against humanity and protecting the environment during armed conflict, as well as the general principles in international law. The ILC will also discuss a number of administrative matters related to its programmes, procedures, documents, and cooperation mechanisms, as well as the date of its future meetings.
