Al Sadd brush aside Al Arabi challenge to consolidate spot
Former multiple Qatar Stars League champions Al Sadd Club took a major step towards consolidating their top four status, defeating rivals Al Arabi Club 3-1 in a pulsating tie at the Lekhwiya Stadium on Sunday.
Two first-half goals from defenders Musab Khoder and Morteza Pouraliganji, along with a breakaway second-half strike from Qatari international captain Hassan Haydoos ensured that The Wolves grabbed all three points.
