Ooredoo announced yesterday that Al Zaman Exchange has joined the Ooredoo Money network as a new international money transfer (remittance) partner.
Al Zaman Exchange, a Qatari exchange house with three decades of experience, joins a renowned roster of existing Ooredoo Money remittance partners, which comprises MoneyGram, Ooredoo Exchange, and Al Dar Exchange.
The new partnership means Ooredoo Mobile Money customers will have even more options for their international money transfers.
Ooredoo Mobile Money customers will now be able to use Al Zaman Exchange to send international transfers directly from their Ooredoo Money app to Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, and Thailand.
Al Zaman Exchange currently offers the best exchange rate in Qatar for Bangladesh, and highly-competitive exchange rates for all other countries.
Customers using Al Zaman Exchange via their Ooredoo Money app will be able to access the same exchange rates and fees as customers using the service at any Al Zaman exchange branch.
Manar Khalifa al-Muraikhi, director, PR and Corporate Communications at Ooredoo, said: “We’re always looking for new partners who share our commitment to quality products and services, and for ways in which we can further improve our customers’ experiences. Our new partnership with Al Zaman Exchange means we have even more outlets at which our customers can carry out their Ooredoo Mobile Money transactions, so they have even more convenience and flexibility. We’re sure Al Zaman Exchange will be a welcome addition to the Ooredoo Mobile Money network and we look forward to a successful partnership.”
