Isabellah Andersson nabs 7th Stockholm Marathon victory

Isabellah Andersson has raced in the Stockholm Marathon 7 times, and has come in first in her category every time.

Swedish-Kenyan runner Isabellah Andersson, 34, won her seventh Stockholm Marathon this windy, rainy Saturday in the Swedish capital. She finished the course in 2 hours 34 minutes and 14 seconds, coming in first in the women’s race, reports news agency TT.

In the men’s competition, Yekeber Bayabel of Ethiopia won, with a time of 2 hours 18 minutes and 22 seconds, just three minutes ahead of Monammad Jafar Moradi of Iran. In third was Fredrik Johansson, of Ullevi, Sweden, with a time of 2 hours 23 minutes and 5 seconds.
