Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta met Qatar’s Attorney-General HE Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri, who is currently visiting Nairobi. During the meeting, they discussed a host of topics of mutual interest in addition to means to boost co-operation between the two countries in the judicial and legal fields. The Attorney-General presented the joint activities to be carried by the Doha-based Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center with the Kenyan Public Prosecution. Dr al-Marri also made a presentation on the tasks he carries as the UN Special Advocate Against Corruption, and means of co-operation between Kenya and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in this area. Qatar’s ambassador to Kenya Jabor bin Ali al-Dosari attended the meeting.
