Bloomberg: Qatar’s sovereign fund deposits $1 billion in the Central Bank of Egypt

The Bloomberg Agency revealed that the Qatar Sovereign Fund (Qatar Investment Authority) deposited one billion dollars with the Central Bank of Egypt at a time when Qatar is approaching a deal to acquire government possessions in some major companies in Egypt.
The American Agency quoted what she described as well -informed sources – she did not mention her by name upon its request – that the Qatar Sovereign Fund is holding discussions about the acquisition of state -owned shares in Egyptian companies.
