Fire Bombs Kill 9, Hurt 30 in Bangladesh

Dhaka, February 07 (QNA) – Attackers threw crude fire bombs at a packed bus and a moving truck in two separate incidents in Bangladesh, leaving nine people dead and 30 others injured, police said.
The attacks were the latest spasm of violence in a nationwide transportation blockade called by the opposition political party.

The bus was attacked late Friday night in the northern Gaibandha district while it was moving toward the capital amid a police escort. At least six people died and 30 were injured.
