Child labour on the rise in India

According to the World Bank, between 88 and 115 million people will be pushed into extreme poverty this year, attributed largely to covid-19, conflict and climate change, especially in developing countries. In India, poverty has led to a large market in child labour, where 10 million children were thought to be working illegally even before the crisis.
