HE the Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Sulaiti yesterday met E Tendayi Achiume, Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, of the United Nations Human Rights Council and her delegation. They reviewed the efforts of Qatar to support workers’ rights and the commitment to provide various forms of economic, social, healthcare and legal protection of their rights and wages. The meeting was attended by HE the Secretary-General of the Shura Council Fahd bin Mubarak al-Khayarin.
