Doha Bank posts QR801 million net profit in first half of 2015
Doha – Doha Bank has announced it has recorded a net profit of QR801 million for the first half of this year as compared to QR787 million for the same period in 2014, showing an increase of almost 2 percent.
Total assets increased by QR10.7 billion, a growth of 14.9 percent, from QR72 billion as of June 30, 2014 to QR82.7 billion as of June 30, 2015.
Net loans and advances increased to QR53.1 billion as of June 30, 2015 from QR45.3 billion for the same period last year, registering a growth of more than 17 percent. Customer deposits showed a year-on-year increase of 16.4 percent from QR44.5 billion to QR51.7 billion as of June 30, 2015 which is evidence of the strong liquidity position of the bank.
