Emir meets UK envoy
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met at the Emiri Diwan yesterday morning with outgoing UK ambassador to Qatar Nicholas Hopton.
The Emir wished the ambassador success in his future assignments and further progress and prosperity for the relations between the two countries. For his part, the ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Emir and State’s officials for the co-operation he received during his tenure.
