FIFA Confirms December 18 as the Date for Final of World Cup 2022
Zurich, September 25 (QNA) – The FIFA executive committee confirmed Friday the dates for World Cup 2022 in Qatar from November 21-December 18.
The announcement was made during the committee’s meeting in Zurich. The meeting agreed on some reforms in light of the corruption charges directed at a number of FIFA officials. One of the reforms was to allow the ethics committee to publish all information it has at its disposal.
FIFA had announced earlier this year that it would hold the final of Qatar 2022 World Cup on December 18, which coincides with the country’s national day. (QNA)
