Her Highness meets with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Education Above All Foundation, a member of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Advocates Group, met yesterday with His Excellency Mr. Filippo Grandi, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
During the meeting, existing projects between the Foundation and UNHCR were discussed, and ways to expand the scope of work to reduce children out of school and protect the right to education for refugee and displaced children and youth and in conflict areas. This fruitful partnership has succeeded in enrolling more than 1.6 million children in schools in 14 countries around the world since 2012.
