Doha, November 14 (QNA) – HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani attended a reception ceremony held by Qatar Olympic Committee at Al Shaqab today in honor of heads of national Olympic committees (ANOC) who are participating in the annual general assembly in Doha.
During the ceremony, HH the Emir was awarded the Olympic shield in recognition of His Highness’s role and contributions in the field of sports and his support for the Olympic activities as well as in recognition of Qatar’s role in organizing international sports events and tournaments. (QNA)
