His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani would kindly include, under his generous patronage, the opening of the third regular session of the first legislative term, corresponding to the fifty-second annual session of the Shura Council, this morning at the Council’s headquarters.
On this occasion, His Highness will deliver a speech in which he addresses the policies of the State of Qatar locally and its future priorities in various sectors, in addition to the country’s positions on various regional and international issues.
Today, the State of Qatar launches a new phase of its blessed journey through the Shura option, which was accepted by the wise leadership and the loyal Qatari people, as a method and approach in running and managing the country’s affairs, as the Shura principle was the most appropriate option for the progression and advancement of this process, as it stems from the teachings of our true Islamic religion and our true Arabism. Our authentic heritage, our ancient traditions, and the characteristics and characteristics of our honorable Qatari society.
Signaling the start of a new legislative term, and as is customary on such an occasion, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country, kindly included, under his generous patronage, this morning the opening of the third regular session of the first legislative term, corresponding to the fifty-second annual session. To the Shura Council, at the Council’s headquarters, where His Highness, “may God protect him,” delivers a speech on this occasion, in which he addresses the state’s policies locally, and its future priorities regarding everything that concerns the citizen and resident on its land, and explains everything new that is coming on the horizon, and outlines the features of an existing renaissance. Transparency depends on sincere national competencies, on the path to achieving the Qatar National Vision 2030.
On the external level, His Highness the Emir’s speech is expected to address some features of the State of Qatar’s policy towards a number of Arab, regional and international files, and the growing role of Qatari diplomacy. There is no doubt that the challenges that our Arab region is witnessing will not be absent from His Highness’s speech, as the circumstances and events are exceptional.
