His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the country, attended the reception hosted by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in honor of their Excellencies the heads of state who were invited to attend part of the activities of the World Athletics Championships Budapest 2023 and the Hungarian National Day celebrations.
During the ceremony, His Highness witnessed the celebrations of the launch of the tournament and the National Day celebrations, which began with a visual display of various artistic and cultural exhibition boards amidst the launch of fireworks.

Earlier today, His Highness the Emir had attended part of the 2023 World Athletics Championships, Budapest, at the National Athletics Center in the capital, Budapest.
The tournament and reception were also attended by HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir.
