His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the country, witnessed the final four rounds of the annual festival of purebred Arabian camel racing on His Highness’s sword for the season (2022-2023), which was held at Al Sheehaniya Racecourse this afternoon.

His Highness crowned the winners of the four main rounds of the competitions of Sin Al-Hail and Zamoul (open rounds) for the camel of Their Excellencies the Sheikhs, on the golden symbols, as “Sheba”, the king of the camel Al-Sheehaniya, was crowned with the golden sword in the open round of tricks, and “Risala”, the king of the camel Al-Sheehaniya, won the golden blade in the The Al-Hail round, Omani women, while “Nashwan” and “Labisir”, the royal camel of Al-Sheehaniya, won the two golden daggers in the Zamoul Open and Omani rounds, respectively.

His Highness crowned the winners of the six main rounds of the competitions of Sin Al-Hail and Al-Zamoul (public rounds) for the camel of the tribesmen, which were held yesterday afternoon, as Mr. Hamad Rashid Al-Ketbi, the owner of the camel “Sharh”, was crowned with the silver sword, after winning the title of the open round of tricks.

His Highness crowned Mr. Manea Ali Al Shamsi, the owner of the camel “Musaiha”, and Mr. Muhammad Saif Al Mazrouei, the owner of the camel “Wood”, after winning the two rounds of Al-Hail, Omani women produced in succession.

His Highness also crowned the three silver daggers, Mr. Muhammad Saif Al-Ghafli, the owner of the camel “Menhash”, Mr. Muhammad Saleh Al-Nabit, the owner of the camel “Munadi”, and Mr. Ali Hamad Al-Marri, the owner of the camel “Hatash”, after winning the Zamoul Open, Omani and Production rounds, respectively.

His Highness honored the sponsoring companies of the festival.

The closing day competitions were attended by a number of Their Excellencies sheikhs and ambassadors accredited to the state, members of the tribes and an audience of camel lovers.
