His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the country, received a verbal message from his brother, His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, King of the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, related to the brotherly relations between the two countries and ways of developing and strengthening them.

The message was conveyed by His Excellency Dr. Ayman Safadi, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, during a reception by His Highness the Amir, at his office at the Emiri Diwan this morning.
At the beginning of the interview, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to his brother, His Highness the Emir of the country, and his wishes to His Highness for continued health and happiness and for the Qatari people to develop and grow.
For his part, His Highness the Emir, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, conveyed his greetings to his brother, His Majesty the King of Jordan, and his wishes for good health and wellness and for the brotherly Jordanian people further progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, they reviewed the strong brotherly relations between Qatar and Jordan and ways of enhancing and developing them, in addition to discussing a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
