French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday confirmed that French and British troops would be deployed in Ukraine. He made the announcement after meeting US President Donald Trump. Macron, however, said that this deployment would be for peaceful purposes. Trump, for his part, evaded a reporter’s question in whether the US would contribute towards rebuilding Ukraine.
