Mandarin Oriental receives the “Green Key” certificate

Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Doha announced that it has been awarded the Green Key Certification for the third year in a row in 2023, which is the leading standard of excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainability in the tourism division. The hotel is committed to operating responsibly and managing its environmental impact and social commitment by continuing to meet the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s sustainability goals and the guiding principle of ‘Act Responsibly’. The hotel is proud to highlight some key initiatives which include eliminating all single-use plastics across all areas of the hotel following the pledge made by the group to eliminate single-use plastics. In addition to achieving the responsible purchase and consumption of agricultural commodities coffee, tea, vanilla and cocoa, the use of paper made from FSC-certified timber and the absence of endangered seafood from the 19 species identified by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group
