MAR to provide QR1.8 bn to finance logistics project
Doha – The Logistics Committee at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) and Manateq have signed an agreement with Masraf Al Rayan (MAR) to provide QR1.8 billion for the logistics project in Wakra zone, according to a press statement released by the MEC on Saturday.
The agreement was signed by Logistics Committee Head Hamad bin Ali al Mannai, Manateq Business Development Director Mohamed Hassan al Malki and Masraf Al Rayan Wholesale Banking Head Mohammed Ismail al Emadi.
The Logistics Committee said that the signing of the agreement was an important step towards achieving the objectives of the project that includes diversification of Qatari economy and private sector competitiveness.
