Minister of Culture Inaugurates Fereej Aspire
Doha, June 26 (QNA) – The Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage, HE Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari, inaugurated the activities of “Fereej Aspire” cultural and heritage, organized by Aspire Zone Foundation which will run until the 19th of Ramadan as part of the organisation’ s Ramadan 2015 activities.
HE Al-Kuwari toured the Fereej and was briefed on its components including various tents hosting ancient traditional crafts and attended the performance of songs and folk songs by children as well as a variety of traditional Qatari games.
Head of Public Relations and Media at Aspire Zone said that the event hosts of activities at the Fereej, offering visitors the chance to practice traditional Qatari sports and to sample traditional Qatari food. There will be a wide range of additional exciting activities, and a number of opportunities to win valuable prizes.
