Doha, October 29 (QNA) – In the context of the Directions of HE the Prime Minister, during his meeting with the Chairpersons of the companies listed in Qatar Exchange with regard to facilitating the process of recruitment for private sector, a new electronic system is being developed for the issuance of labor approvals, to replace the current system of the standing committee for recruitment.
In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs said that the new system aims to facilitate and expedite the mechanism of recruitment applications through adopting clear controls for the employers regarding the approval of requested nationalities and prevention the replication of applications’ submission.
The new system achieves the principle of transparency and complies with the ministry’s policy of increasing electronic services.
The abolition of the standing committee for recruitment, and the launch of the new electronic system are expected to take place early next year. (QNA)
