Ministry to check if companies are obeying midday work ban
The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (Molsa) is set to launch a comprehensive campaign to ensure the compliance of companies with stipulations of the labour law.
The search campaign will focus on compliance of companies with the revised working hours for summer – until August 31 – at outdoor sites.
Strict penalties will be imposed on violating companies, ranging from suspension of their transactions at the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs to closing down the facility.
Labour inspectors will also look for companies that employ workers without proper work permits or those who are not sponsored by them.
