Director General of the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti confirmed that the country’s celebrations of the National Day, which falls on December 18 each year, is a day in which Qataris renew their love and loyalty to their beloved country, and a day for renewing the spirit of loyalty to the wise leadership.
On the occasion of the country’s celebrations of the National Day, Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti said that the occasion is an opportunity to express happiness and various civilised manifestations, the love of the country and the joy in its accomplishments year after year. This feeling touches the heart of everyone who lives on the land of Qatar; a feeling that reflects the renewal of the intention to always work to build this country, he added.
Dr al-Sulaiti also stressed that Katara focuses its mission toward supporting cultural heritage, spreading awareness, and reformulating the Arab cultural scene by preparing Qatari individuals and residents, supporting their talents, and launching a real dialogue that contributes to strengthening cultural coexistence at the world level in addition to doing more work within its mission to extend bridges of communication and openness to different cultures and peoples.
