“Men who like to participate in traditional dance celebrations during QND come to us shopping for swords, which cost between QR50 and QR700,” he said.
“We also have customers shopping for maroon-themed dress for girls, T-shirts for boys, as well as cotton flags that we have a tailor come to stitch on-demand,” he added.
Ajmal noted that Souq Waqif buzzes with activity after the Corniche Parade that takes place on the QND morning.
