KSA roasts as world breaks new heat records

JEDDAH/MIAMI: The General Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) said that Jeddah is in for hot temperatures, usual in Saba weather.

The PME added that eastern-northern winds led to an increase in temperatures in Jeddah, especially in the eastern parts, where temperatures registered 50 degrees Celsius in the shade.
The PME has announced in its forecast that the weather will be extremely hot during the noon in the eastern, middle and northern parts of the Kingdom as well as Madinah, Makkah and Tabuk.
The heat will be accompanied by dusty gusts affecting visibility, and the coastal parts will have high humidity.
