HH the Emir Holds Official Talks Session with Tukmenistan’s President
Ashgabat, March 07 (QNA) – HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held Monday an official talks session with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.
The president of Turkmenistan first expressed his welcome to HH the Emir and the accompanying delegation. Afterwards the President expressed his hope that the visit will lead to enhancing cooperation in all fields. Berdimuhamedow was also full of praise for HH the Emir for supporting Turkmenistan by enhancing economic ties.
The President also praised Qatar’s high ability of hosting sporting events, especially the Asian Games 2006. He also congratulated HH the Emir for hosting World Cup 2022.
HH the Emir thanked the President for the welcome and highlighted that the two countries are celebrating 20 years of diplomatic relations. HH the Emir took the chance to highlight the strong friendship between the people of both countries. HH the Emir also congratulated the President for hosting the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in 2017, wishing the hosting country success.
