Qatar’s Minsiter of State for Defence Affairs, Omani Counterpart Discuss Military Cooperation
Muscat, April 06 (QNA) – HE Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah held here today an official session of talks with Omani Minister Responsible for Defense Affairs Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib al-Busaidi.
Discussions during the session focused on existing military cooperation fields and exchanged views on matters of common interest in order to serve the common interest of the two brotherly countries.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Government of the Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Defence and the Government of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Defence on service conditions for the Omani military officers and personnel dispatched to Qatar. The MoU comes within the framework of cooperation between the Ministries of Defence of the two countries.
