Ooredoo has announced the arrival of the new Netgear M2 Mobile Broadband Router, which is now available for sale.
The new device allows customers to offload their LTE connection to an alternate public or private data access point via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
“It is compact and lightweight and offers superior mobile broadband services, boasting of a host of features and benefits that will revolutionise connectivity on the go,” Ooredoo said in a statement.
With the new device, customers “will enjoy super-fast mobile broadband Internet, delivering incredible download speeds” of up to 2Gbps and upload speeds of up to 150Mbps in selected areas. The device also supports 4GX LTE Advanced Category 20 with up to 5-band carrier aggregation.
Customers will also be able to stream media from USBs or external hard drives to all connected devices and enjoy the Internet with “reliable always-on connection” shareable with up to 20 devices at any one time.
The Netgear M2 features the latest LTE technology and a long-life battery for all-day connectivity, and is now available for purchase from Ooredoo shops and at the online e-Shop. It comes with a travel router with Wi-Fi/Ethernet offloading capabilities.
