Pakistani manufacturers explore opportunities at Project Qatar

DOHA: Several Pakistani companies launched many quality products in Qatari market this year at the 15th edition of Project Qatar exhibition which was held at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center (DECC).

Offering quality products, Hilton Enterprises (dealing in safety wear and gloves), Rafique Engineering Industries Pvt Ltd (manufacturers of Royal fans) and one of the leading paint brands from Pakistan, Brighto Paints, participated in the exhibition with the assistance of its local distributor Unique Trading.

Royal Fans is recognised as one of the leading brands of Pakistan across the country, and is considered the front runner in technological and product innovation in the fan industry.

Talking to The Peninsula, Zain Ejaz Sikka, Director of Marketing at Brighto Paints said: “We launched our products in Qatar in February this year, after signing an agreement Unique Trading Company Chairman Abdul Rahman Mohamed al-Muftah under which Unique Trading to be the main distributor of Brighto Paints in Qatar. This partnership makes our relationship stronger on the basis of trust, as we believe in quality.”

“We launched unique products including ‘Brighto Stain Free’ paint, a unique, eco-friendly paint that is capable of repelling all types of stains. Compared to oil-based paints, Brighto Stain Free is 100% water-based and is a low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) paint. We believe in providing quality products at reasonable price,” he said.

Zain added: “Blockade opened door for Pakistani businessmen to come and invest in Qatari market. Visa on arrival facility by Qatar was a great facilitation for all of us”.

Brighto also retails painting technology such as automated applicators and associated products.
