Helicopter pilot loses life in Taif crash
RIYADH: A Saudi pilot died in a helicopter crash during a routine training flight in Taif on Sunday, a source at the Ministry of Defense announced.
The crash occurred because of a technical glitch, which resulted in the death of Lt Pilot Bandar bin Yahya Farhan Al-Fifi, said the source.
Competent authorities have launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of the crash.
