His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, met with His Excellency Mr. Sébastien Lecornu, French Minister of the Armed Forces, at the headquarters of the French Ministry of Defense in Paris.
During the meeting, topics of common interest between the two sides were discussed, ways to enhance and develop them, and the latest developments in the region, especially the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip. The meeting included the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two sides regarding cooperation in the field of industrial investment. The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the French Republic, His Excellency Major General (Pilot) Mohammed Abdul Latif Al Mannai, Advisor to the Prime Deputy Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs for Military and Security Affairs, and Brigadier General (Engineer/Air) Mohammed Mubarak Al Shayeq Al Hajri, attached. The Qatari military in the French Republic, and a number of senior officials and officers from both sides.
