Qatar Announces the Launch of the Largest Logistics and Industrial Projects
Doha, July 16 (QNA) – In implementation of the directives of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on diversifying the base of the Qatari economy and supporting competitiveness of the private sector in order to increase commercial activity, reinforce the local product and diversify non-hydrocarbon investment methods, HE the Prime Minister and Minister Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani announced the launch of the largest logistics and industrial projects in southern Qatar.
On this occasion, HE the Prime Minister and Minister Interior, stressed the government’s keenness on translating the directives of HH the Emir and crystallize his vision with the launch and follow up of the implementation of development projects aimed at making Qatar a regional hub for investment and logistics, increasing competitiveness of the commercial sector as well as encouraging the private sector to participate and contribute effectively to the development plan of the State in accordance with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
