Qatar beats China 3-1, AFC U23 Championship kicks off to colourful start
Hosts Qatar made a spectacular start to their AFC U23 Championship Qatar 2016 bouncing back from a one goal deficit to defeat China 3-1 in the second match of Group A on the inaugural day at the Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium here on Tuesday.
Abdelkarim Hassan scored a brace while Ahmed Alaeedin pumped in the third as Qatar rallied from Liao Lisheng’s opener to score thrice in the second session much to the delight of over 6,500 spectators.
