Minister of Culture: ‘The State of Qatar Believes in Freedom of Expression unless it Offends Islamic Constants’
Doha, January 10 (QNA) – The Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage, HE Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, stressed that the participation of writers and intellectuals in the activities of the 25th Doha International Book Fair are based on an objective and scientific choice, regardless of their prior positions.
In a statement to the Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the sidelines of his visit to the Fair, Dr. Al Kuwari said we trust our country and its fair stands, stressing that the State of Qatar believes in freedom of expression unless it offends Islamic constants.
