Doha, December 19 (QNA) – Qatar’s embassies and diplomatic missions abroad have continued celebrations to mark the National Day of the State of Qatar, which falls on December 18 every year to commemorate the founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani.
HE Qatar’s Ambassador to Lebanon hosted a reception in the capital Beirut to celebrate the National Day.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Samir Moqbel, representing the Prime Minister Tammam Salam and Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri, along with a number of ministers, deputies, ambassadors of a number of Arab and foreign countries accredited to Lebanon, as well as a crowd of politics, culture, art and media figures and religious and military dignitaries.
