DOHA – Qatar’s strong defence will face a major test when they will be up against an aggressive Belarus for a place in the quarter-finals of the World Men’s Junior Handball Championship in Uberlandia Sabiazihno, Brazil on Tuesday.

Qatar finished third in Pool B following their 22-37 loss to Serbia, who will now play in the President’s Cup after Portugal hammered out a thrilling one-goal triumph over Angola (27-26) with Miguel Martins cracking eight goals for the winners.

The Portuguese grabbed the fourth and last spot of the group — behind toppers Spain, also the runners-up of the last edition, second-placed Romania and Qatar — to qualify for the Eighth-Finals.
