His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call yesterday from His Excellency Dr. Hussein Amir Abdullahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the call, the cooperation relations between the two countries were reviewed, the latest developments of the war in the Gaza Strip, its repercussions on the region and ways to reduce the escalation.
His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed the commitment of the State of Qatar to its efforts to mediate and facilitate negotiations between Iran and Western countries, including continuing to implement the recent agreement between Iran and the United States, which was brokered by Qatar.
