The Ministry of Energy and Industry has announced petrol prices for the month of January 2017. As per the Ministry of Energy and Industry, petrol prices and diesel in Qatar will go up by 5 dirhams from January 1.
Prices of both Super and Premium grade petrol will be 5 dirhams more than the December rates. The ministry has also decided to hike the prices of diesel for the first time to QR1.45. It has consistently remained at QR1.40 ever since the prices started to be decided on a monthly basis.
According to ministry, a liter of 91-octane premium petrol will cost QR1.50, increased from QR1.45. And Super 95-octane gasoline has increased from QR1.50 to QR1.55 per liter.
Diesel will costt QR1.45, increased from QR1.40.
