Qatar Red Crescent Boosts Effective Parenting
Doha, June 20 (QNA) – Qatar Red Crescent (QRC) has launched a new social programme ‘Effective Parenting’ to boost Qatari families.
Seventy-five beneficiaries from vulnerable families, mothers, grandmothers, and would-be wives benefit from this QR 100,000 programme so far, QRC said.
It comprises a three-day series of lectures and workshops, taught by psychological and educational experts.
Topics include role of a social worker, effective management of behaviour, family education, I make the change, distress of widows and divorcees, and resolution of marital strife.
