Qatar succeeds in forcing Israel to enable 8000 Palestinian fans to attend the World Cup

For the first time in the history of the World Cup, Palestinian fans will be able to attend the World Cup matches without restrictions from the Israeli occupation state, thanks to the Qatari diplomacy that forced the Israeli occupation to allow the Palestinians to come to Doha and enjoy the largest sporting event in the world in a precedent not seen in other tournaments.
Nearly 8,000 Palestinian fans will arrive in Qatar to attend the World Cup competitions for the first time in the history of the World Cup, through Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied territories with Cypriot airlines, after the occupation authorities were placing many obstacles and restrictions to prevent Palestinians from using Israeli airports, as well. Palestinians will be able to obtain consular services at the Palestinian embassy in Doha – according to media outlets.
