QCS honours boat racer for spreading cancer awareness
Doha – THE Chairman of Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) Dr Sheikh Khalid bin Jabor al Thani has honoured power boat racer Randy Sweers for spreading cancer awareness through his boat during the 2015 Qatar Cup, a power boat racing festival that concluded on Saturday.
The boat displayed the message کracing for cancer’ in support of Sweers’ wife who has survived the disease and called on people from all over the world to support cancer awareness. The initiative is the first of its kind aimed at encouraging every individual to support cancer patient.
